Lisa Coppedge, Suzanne Kretschmer, and Inga Middleton were the recipients of the 2008 Environmental Hero award for their efforts to inspire and empower students in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District to care for the environment. This award is given by VOICE and recognizes individuals for improving the environment through individual action.
