Grades of Green in conjunction with Waste Management and the city of Manhattan Beach were awarded the US Mayoral Public/Private Partnership award for our successful partnership. Together we worked to reduce trash and increase sustainability efforts throughout the city and schools. This award is given to acknowledge remarkable achievements made possible by the partnerships between the member companies of the Mayors Business Council and the member cities across the nation. These achievements can take many forms with benefits ranging from economic development and environmental improvements to better schools and a more educated workforce.
