The 2016-2017 Grades of Green Trash Free Lunch Challenge is officially underway, and our team is thrilled to kick off the year with our Eco-Consultation visits at participating schools! This week the team visited two schools that are participating in the Trash Free Lunch Challenge, both of which are representing a new Grades of Green school district, Saugus Union, located in Santa Clarita. North Park Elementary has a strong student leadership team that is excited and eager to take on the challenge, and Bridgeport Elementary school is represented by a group of 6th grade students who are looking forward to leading their school in the program. During the Eco-Consultation, the Grades of Green team tours the school campus and collects data in order to help the school map out their plan for rolling out a successful and sustainable Trash Free Lunch program.
