Christine Carreon recently retired from her twenty-year career as a senior sales and marketing professional. After graduating from the University of San Diego, she entered the medical/managed care contracting industry. She eventually became the Director of Sales and Marketing for a full-line durable medical equipment company where she was responsible for its entire sales team across Southern California. Christine was recruited away by SalonCentric (L’Oreal USA) to be part of its mass-market, consumer retail team.

Having raised their children in Manhattan Beach, Christine and her husband, James, became aware of Grades of Green through Pacific Elementary School. However, Christine became more familiar with Grades of Green while serving as Vice President of Philanthropy and then President for National Charity League, Inc. Manhattan-Hermosa Chapter. Grades of Green became one of NCL’s philanthropy partners. Inspired by the growth and reach of Grades of Green at the Verte Event, Christine decided to get more involved. Their mission of empowering young people through education and community service will develop our next generation of Eco Leaders to care for the environment.
