Allie is the Co-Executive Director and managing director of the Los Angeles, California office at Grades of Green. She first became involved with Grades of Green as an intern during her last semester of undergraduate college and was thrilled to be offered a permanent position upon her graduation in 2011. Allie received her Master’s in Nonprofit Management and a Certificate in Fundraising through the University of Central Florida in 2018. She graduated from Cal State University Long Beach in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Environmental Science and Policy, receiving Magna Cum Laude. While at Cal State Long Beach, Allie served as the Powersave Program Team Manager for two years, where she was awarded Team Manager of the Year (2011). She was also an intern at the City Long Beach Office of Sustainability and for the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference as well as the featured Student Keynote Speaker at the conference (2011). Prior to that, Allie was the Associated Students, Inc. Conservation Commissioner (2009-2010) and was awarded Commission and Commissioner of the Year at the end of her term. Allie is currently a member of the City of Manhattan Beach Sustainability Task Force, where she co-manages the Sustainability Youth Council. Allie is passionate about environmental education and working with children and greatly enjoys connecting with the community.
