Emily is the Programs Manager for Grades of Green’s Campaigns in the New York office. She works closely with schools to engage students in environmental advocacy, as well as developing Program content. She earned a degree in Environmental Studies and Government at Bowdoin College, where she had the opportunity to apply climate change research to community resilience initiatives. As an Environmental Studies Fellow, she worked on forming a Food Council that revitalized sustainable farming and fishing in Maine. Emily also worked as a Public Education intern at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where she gained experience communicating a broad array of environmental issues. She is passionate about the power of hands-on experiences to build a lifelong love for the planet and is excited to be part of a team that is dedicated to inspiring future generations to care for and protect the earth.
