Grand View Elementary in Manhattan Beach is trying to change. PTA President, Paki Wolfe felt the school was lacking in its green efforts so she put the word out on the street that she needed volunteers. A few motivated parents jumped at the chance to green the campus and educate students and have been trying to implement programs ever since. Earth Tips, Trash Free Tuesdays, and Walk to School Wednesdays are just three of the programs introduced to the school that are really starting to make a difference.
