High school eco-leader Victoria is reducing waste and making the planet greener by upcycling plastic bottles and turning them into a plant nursery. Victoria has already kicked off her bottle nursery project at home and is expanding her solution community-wide as part of her Grades of Green Waste Campaign waste reduction solution. This spring, Victoria and her Waste Campaign team in Venezuela plan to upcycle 2,000 bottles to grow plants, which will be planted in their school garden. Victoria also leads an outdoor composting project at school and is expanding composting to fertilize the garden as well.
