Manhattan Beach Middle School’s own newspaper, Riptide Reader, featured an article on Grades of Green and the new sorting system implemented at MBMS. Before Grades of Green, MBMS produced 30 bags of trash each day at lunchtime. After one day of using the sorting system, MBMS has cut that total down to 17 bags.
