Have you ever wondered what an area of land would look like if people didn’t develop it? Grades of Green teamed up with the Friends of the LAX Dunes to restore the native habitat near LAX. On Saturday, Grades of Green staff was joined by Youth Corps student Johanna to help the Friends of The LAX Dunes eradicate the invasive ice plants in the area by pulling the plants from the ground. This is in an effort to allow the native plants to have access to the water and nutrients they need to survive.
