Grades of Green is challenging schools to reduce their total lunchtime waste by encouraging students to pack trash free lunches and sort waste into recycle, compost and landfill bins. The winning school will be awarded a $1,000 education grant, with second place receiving $750 and third $500!
The first 16 schools to sign up will receive an Eco-Starter Kit containing tools and prizes to help their school become trash free. The Eco-Starter Kit is valued at over $2500. Enter The Challenge now by registering your school at gradesofgreen.org/trashchallenge before September 14th and emailing Challenge Program Manager, Nicole Sevier, at nicoles@gradesofgreen.org.
