Grades of Green kids had the
honor of participating in TEDx Manhattan Beach.  There were a total of 16
breakout sessions all revolving around TEDx’s focus of where our education is
headed in the future.  The students explained to the attendees about their
social responsibility and how they are involved in preserving the planet.
They focused on programs they have learned through Grades of Green such
as “Trash Free Lunches”, “Walk to School Wednesdays” and
“Operation Green Nation.”  Other notable presenters attending
were from Stanford, The Discovery Channel, USC and UCLA to mention a few.  Check out these great photos of the event!
