Grades of Green recently had the opportunity to compete in Los Angeles’s Social Innovation Fast Pitch, a free two-month training and mentoring program on how to succinctly and powerfully tell Grades of Green’s story in the form of a 3-minute pitch.  The program is to help innovative nonprofits that are effecting social change in Los Angeles County. Over those two months, Grades of Green worked tirelessly to perfect its 3-minute pitch, resulting in Grades of Green being one of the ten finalists.  We then got to give our pitch to 600 people at the Skirball Center in front of 5 judges who gave feedback on what was innovative and impactful about our program.  Check out our pitch where we explain why investing in the 176,000 Grades of Green students means protecting our environment for generations to come here.
