Want to learn about greening your school?  Come join Grades of Green at the 2012 Green California Schools Summit and Exposition at the Pasadena Convention Center on September 27 and 28, 2012.  Not only will Grades of Green be presenting at the Summit, but Grades of Green Board member, Kelly Meyer, will be featured as the Keynote Speaker!  Now in its sixth year, the Summit is the state’s largest annual gathering of green school leaders.  The annual Summit was developed under the leadership of an Advisory Board chaired by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson and State Architect Chet Widom.  Grades of Green will be giving their presentation, Trash Redux: Cost Savings through Waste Diversion, on Thursday, September 27th at 1:15pm. Presenters include Suzanne Kretschmer, Co-Founder and Director of Operations, Allie Bussjaeger, Programs and Outreach Coordinator, Dawnyell Goolsby, Principal of Warren Lane Elementary School in Inglewood, CA, and fifth grade green team school leaders at Jefferson Elementary School, Sophia Fine Turcot and Lilly Spangler.
