Congratulations to Grades of Green, Waste Management and the City of Manhattan Beach for winning the prestigious United States Conference of Mayors award for a successful partnership between a public and private entity. Grades of Green worked closely with Waste Management and the City to bring super recycling, composting, and other green programs to the schools located within the city of Manhattan Beach. American Martyrs, Robinson, Meadows, Pennekamp, Grand View, and Pacific Schools have all joined the green effort and are making a difference. Not only are they inspiring and educating students, they are saving the schools money! Talk about a win-win!
