Grades of Green Youth Corps at STAR Eco-Station Earth Day Celebration.

The Grades of Green Youth Corps was on hand to man the Grades of Green booth at the STAR Eco-Station Earth Day Celebration. The event included live music, food trucks, and booths featuring over 30 environmentally minded organizations. Youth Corps members Riley McDonald, Sam Holtze, Rylee Goldfarb, and Max and Reece Riley engaged with other kids at the event to play games that taught fun facts about the environment. The Youth Corps showcased their newest game, “How Long Does it Really Take?”, which educates players on how long it takes items to decompose in a landfill. Over 200 people were educated on the importance of protecting the enviroment as a result of the Youth Corps booth!
