Earth Hour

Overview

Earth Hour is a global event held every year on the last Saturday of March. The World Wildlife fund (WWF) organizes Earth Hour to spread awareness about ways to reduce our energy use. For one hour, households and businesses are encouraged to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances to raise awareness about taking action against climate change.
