We want to give a big shout out to Hindley Elementary School for rolling out Trash Free Tuesdays! Check out this article in the Darien News. Hindley has put together a great team of people to teach students and parents how to pack lunches that don’t generate trash. And it’s working! The amount of trash they are throwing away each day has been decreasing – this is good news for the school, and great news for the environment. Way to go Hindley!
