The City of Manhattan Beach has unanimously adopted two important ordinances that are major wins for the environment. The first is Manhattan Beach now has the world’s strongest polystyrene food service item ban. Manhattan Beach also repealed an ordinance which means restaurants are now banned from single-use plastic bags in Manhattan Beach. Way to go Manhattan Beach in taking a lead in efforts to help protect our environment.
