Partnership for a Walkable America has been organizing the annual Walk to School Day since 1997. Last year, there were over 4,000 events that participted in Walk to School Day. This year, on October 9th, Walk to School Day will be happening again. By participating in Walk to School Day, you are promoting healthier habits, a cleaner environment, and benefiting the community by reducing traffic congestion, boosting a sense of community, and improving neighborhood connections.
