Grades of Green spent St. Patrick’s Day at John Adams Middle School (JAMS) in Santa Monica supporting their Go Green Week! Students lined up to participate in eco-games during lunch to learn why it is important to reduce waste and stop littering. In addition to learning about what items are recyclable, students also learned about natural resources and how long it takes for common items to decompose in a landfill. At the end of the music-filled event, these stellar middle school students had a better understanding of why it’s important to reduce waste and stop littering. Congratulations to the students at JAMS who made St. Patty’s Day even greener! Want your school to become a part of the fun? Register your school with Grades of Green here!
