As we approach the holiday season, many students want to donate their time and give back to their community. For our friends in the Bay area, Project Giving Kids is offering a unique experience that will allow you to volunteer with multiple organizations in just a few hours. On November 12, Project Giving Kids is hosting their first Bay Area Create the Change Day at the Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto at 1pm. This fun-filled event will provide numerous hands-on opportunities for kids, teens and families to volunteer and will feature the PGK’s growing network of nonprofit partners in and around the South Bay and Peninsula. Whether you want to pack hygiene kits for people in need, assemble snack bags for families experiencing medical crises, or craft holiday cards for the homebound, come give an hour or two and help Project Giving Kids #CreateTheChange!
