Grades of Green got to meet its 60+ students participating in this year’s Youth Corps Eco-Leadership Program.  Students from elementary to high school all met up to get to know one another, pick a Grades of Green Project and have fun! Each student played fun games, learned about Grades of Green’s Activities, and brainstormed amazing ideas for their eco-friendly projects.  They were each welcomed with a reusable water bottle donated by Klean Kanteen, a t-shirt from Image Solutions, a pencil made from recycled money and a Handbook to guide them along their eco-journeys.  They and their families also got to enjoy a delicious lunch from Fresh Brothers and GROW. Students even showed their environmental dedication by cleaning up a park as a part of the Green Apple Day of Service. We are excited to see more from these brilliant eco-minded students! Of course, this free program would not be possible without the support of the Murad Family Foundation, the Alcoa Foundation, the City of Santa Monica, Wells Fargo, Earth Friendly Products, Southern California Edison, Warner Bros, and The Vanderbilt Family Foundation. Way to Go Youth Corps students!
