West Basin Supports Grades of Green Schools in Hermosa Beach

Thanks to a successful rain barrel give away event led by Youth Corps student Reece, West Basin Water District was able to donate $1,000 to support Grades of Green programs in Hermosa Beach! The rain barrel event provided South Bay residents with a free rain barrel, and West Basin generously gave $5 per rain barrel to Grades of Green. After passing out a grand total of 200 rain barrels, $1,000 was allocated to continue Grades of Green’s environmental programs in Hermosa Beach, such as Trash Free Lunch education, tree plantings, and more.
