Chrissie Clay is an attorney, a mother of three and an ardent supporter of Grades of Green.

She has been a Grades of Green docent for her children’s classes for several years, currently serves as the Grades of Green co-chair for the middle school and has helped the organization secure a number of grants to support its programs and operations. She especially loves the Youth Corps Eco Leadership Program and seeing young people effect real, positive environmental change in their schools and communities. She is proud to have two children currently serving on the Youth Corps.

In addition to her work with Grades of Green, she also heads up the garden program at her children’s elementary school and recently helped implement a food recovery program at the school, whereby uneaten cafeteria food is donated to those in need.

Chrissie holds an undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University, a law degree from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. She works for RGP on a long-term assignment to Spectrum Brands as Immigration Counsel.
