Program Advisor

Robyn was born and raised in the South Bay area of Southern California. Growing up near the ocean, she was aware at an early age of the importance of caring for and protecting our natural resources.  Robyn graduated UCLA in 1997 with degrees in Psychology and Anthropology. She went on to work in sales in the Action Sports Industry. While taking time off from her career to raise her children, Robyn had time to refocus her interest on environmental issues and dedicated herself to learning more about how she could help to make a difference. She became passionate about composting and ridding her home of toxins and chemicals. While her son was attending Grandview Elementary School in Manhattan Beach, Robyn was given the opportunity to volunteer with the Grades of Green program as a 3R docent and head of the composting program. Robyn is now excited to be part of the Grades of Green programs team where she can work to inspire environmental stewardship in local youth.
