Tisha is a rising junior at Rochester Adams High School in Rochester Hills, MI. Since she was six years old, her dad would often talk to her about the several issues the planet faced. Together, they would come up with hundreds of solutions to solve them. From that point on, she has dedicated herself to creating notable environmental impact in her community. She started the AHS Styro Proj with a group of 7 friends to replace the styrofoam lunch trays at school with biodegradable alternatives. With the help of Grades of Green, her team was able to gain more visibility about their project and awareness about their cause in their community. This summer she will be serving as a research intern with the executive team, working on bringing an organic waste program to schools in California and beyond!
