This week the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced that Grades of Green’s very own Youth Corps member, Joshua C., was selected to receive the 2015 President’s Environmental Youth Award! Joshua received this prestigious award based on his dedication to educating others on how they can conserve water.  During his fifth grade year at Meadows Elementary, Joshua led a school wide water reduction campaign, which included classroom presentations to inform students on how to save water, increasing recycling of water bottles on campus and encouraging students to bring reusable bottles, and even creating an Earth Library in his school! This national award is presented annually, and Joshua is the sole recipient for all k-5 applicants in his region.  Congratulations to Joshua, keep up the great work!
