A Path Forward

Grades of Green has developed an innovative pathway of programming to fully support students of all ages and backgrounds worldwide on their journey to become passionate environmental leaders of the future.

The Destination

Grades of Green offers 5 programs that are free for students, schools, districts and parents which will meet the following objectives:

  • Provide accessible, engaging, educational and impactful environmental project-based programs for students in every grade level
  • Develop and implement programs to be scalable, sustainable, equitable and measurable
  • Build and empower environmental changemakers and leaders to initiate and inspire local communities to make long-lasting impacts
  • Bring students around the globe together to work toward transformative solutions

The Programs

The following programs will engage, educate & elevate students through their school career to be the next generation of environmental leaders.

LAUNCH Project Toolkits

  • Provide extensive, flight-ready toolkits to:
    • Educators of K-5 Students
    • Middle and High School Students
  • Project toolkits include everything educators and students need to create powerful environmental impact, regardless of their circumstances
  • Provides teachers with stipends

RISE Climate Solutions Campaign

  • Current, award-winning program
  • Ideal for students in 6th to 12th grade
  • Student teams create their own project to solve a climate-related environmental issue in their communities
  • Personal mentorship from our Advisors
  • Teams are awarded Eco-Grants to expand their projects’ impact
  • Provides teachers with stipends

SOAR Leadership Academy

  • Empowers 9th to 12th grade students to become impactful environmental leaders through extensive skill-building and direct mentorship with our Advisors
  • Corporate partnerships provide students with the opportunity to see how sustainable businesses change the world through internships and collaboration

UPLIFT District Partnerships

  • Engage students in environmentally disadvantaged schools districts
  • Supports districts’ efforts to align with new California legislation requiring the sustainable disposal of organic waste
  • Increasing student and teacher engagement at every grade level, multiplying community impact
