Originally from San Francisco, I made my way down to Los Angeles to attend UCLA, where I received a B.A. in Economics/Business and where I met my future husband Sam.  We often say that UCLA gave us everything – our careers, good friends and each other.  I was a Litigation Consultant with Peterson Consulting and later Tucker Alan Consulting in the Los Angeles office for over a decade, before staying home with our two daughters.

Service and community are two pillars of our family. Over the years, I have been active in the Manhattan Beach schools and community, serving in many roles in the PTAs, Manhattan Beach Education Foundation, National Charity League Manhattan Hermosa Chapter, TEDxMB and various other community organizations.

My parents were great role models who trod lightly on the planet and rarely wasted anything. I am proud to serve on the Advisory Committee and support the mission of Grades of Green in providing opportunities for students to envision and lead changes in their environments to help us all have a more sustainable future.
