College Corps Fellow
Emily was born and raised in San Diego California. As a first-generation student attending UCLA, she is majoring in Biology with a minor in Global Health. Emily has always had a deep appreciation for nature, even being a strong green thumb in her tiny dorm room. She first developed an interest in environmentalism as she saw the negative impacts climate change has on health within her community. In the future career she hopes to help address health disparities emphasized by growing climate concerns. In her free time Emily enjoys gardening, sewing, and checking out new art exhibits!
