Program Director

Juliet Curry is an innovative leader with twenty years experience developing, managing and teaching youth programs. Juliet deeply understands the power of education to ignite change and transform lives and is passionate about promoting social change. Juliet joins Grades of Green after working at the Brentwood Art Center, a non-profit community art center, where she guided the organization as they transitioned all programs into the digital realm in 2020. Juliet also worked in the classroom as an Arts Teaching Specialist where she designed a school-wide arts curriculum focused on equity, inclusion and building cultural competency. Juliet is an entrepreneur at heart having founded SmART Space, Creative Arts Programs, a unique arts enrichment company that grew to an established community resource from 2005 – 2015. Juliet lives in Santa Monica, and her love for nature and the ocean coupled with her passion to live an environmentally conscious life aligns with the objectives of Grades of Green. She is excited to partner with students to ignite change through environmental education and action. Juliet believes that by supporting our youth we can all work together to build a better tomorrow.
